Long Island Resort does have the usual facilities that one could expect from an award winning 160 room three and a half star island resort. It has restaurants, swimming pools, tennis courts, kids club (4-14 years), activities, bars, nightly entertainment and so much more. Long Islands accommodation enhances the natural ambience of an island setting, we aim to allow privacy and ensure the highest level of service whilst still ensuring an intimate getaway.
Enjoy the magic of nature with 20 km of scenic walking tracks, explore the 2500 acres of national park and palm fringed beaches ideal for all ages and fitness levels. For those who enjoy the great outdoors or simply wish to enjoy the complete Long Island experience, you may wish to completely circumnavigate the Island by foot. You will endure 9 hours of walking/hiking/climbing but the memories will last forever.
Long Island Resort boasts a comprehensive range of water sports, parasailing, jet skiing, catamaran sailing, glass bottom water bikes, water-skiing, fishing trips and Island cruises are all available.
Indulge in an island picnic utilizing the 20kms of bush tracks, our water sport team will even arrange for a picnic hamper to be waiting for you on your arrival at the secluded Sandy Bay.

When peace and quiet is what Mum and Dad desire our experienced Kids Club staff are at hand to entertain with plenty of great activities for the children. Long Island is located within the Whitsunday's Islands group on the north eastern coast of Queensland, Australia.
Cancellation Policy
If cancelled 0 - 7 days before arrival, 100% of the total amount will be forfeited / If cancelled 8 or more days before arrival, 100% of the deposit will be forfeited. In addition to any charges by the accommodation provider there will also be an additional administration charge of AUD15 if cancelled or amended online and AUD25 if cancelled or amended by phone.
