We arrived back from Long Island on Friday evening, after a fantastic stay in the Whitsundays. Even though the weather was quite wet it was still warm enough to enjoy the water activities and soak up the beautiful pool at Long Island Resort.

The staff at Long Island Resort were exceptional and one of the things we enjoyed greatly about staying at long Island Resort was that the staff were allowed to mingle with guests. This gave the place a more friendly feel to it, and so many of the staff have great stories to tell of the places they have travelled and worked.

Even while the rain was coming down the swim up bar was awesome, and the clear days were even better. Cocktails that we got were really yummy.

Kids club was well run, and the children were always kept busy with so much to do, and the highlight of their trip was organising a disco with great lighting etc.
