It is now becoming an excitement for everyone to watch and be part of the thirteenth annual SPORTSPOWER triathlon on September 4th this year and hopes are high for another record entry field. Once again the race, which is a Sprint Distance vent comprising a 750m swim, 20km cycle and 5km run.

Males and females are allowed to compete on equal footing with the exciting prospect for spectators of the lead male and lead female sprinting it out to the finish chute with line honours up for grabs. These is done by the format where individual women and teams making up the first wave start and given a time start over the men equal to the average difference between first male and first female over the history of the event. Aside from the fact that the activity promotes healthy life, it encourages people to improve their lifestyles and gain new friends while on the race.
